We understand that Club volleyball is a significant investment for your family in both time and money. Unlike many other travel sports, you don’t have many options for volunteer parent coaches and loosely-organized leagues; competitive volleyball clubs have experienced coaches, practice multiple days per week, and travel to tournaments near and far. The Carolina Region events and the larger tournaments on our schedule are well-run and will provide a competitive, organized, positive environment for your daughter. It’s an invaluable experience, but we do get that it’s not cheap, even with AIM being dedicated to keeping costs as low as possible.
THE GOOD NEWS is that AIM Volleyball is recognized as a non-profit organization, which means that if you have family or local businesses that are able to sponsor your child, their donation is tax-deductible. Donations of any amount will receive a letter acknowledging their contribution that will also serve as their tax receipt. If you have someone donate $250 or more, they will also have the option to receive space for their company logo on our web site and in our email footer, as just an extra thank-you and opportunity to reach the parents and coaches and officials that communicate with us and visit our site on a regular basis.
Donors may contribute directly to your daughter’s Club dues, and will be applied to the payments in reverse order. We are also seeking Tailgate Sponsors for the teams as a whole, where we’ll have tailgate tablecloths or banners with sponsor logos in 3 different sizes, for $250, $500 or $1000. This is a way for corporate sponsors to make larger donations that show their support more visually, but are still tax-deductible. These donations will be distributed proportionally among each team.

At our Signing Day event, we’ll provide families with a Sponsorship Letter, to use when asking for donations, and a Sponsorship Checklist, that you’ll use to track each sponsor and the amount donated. All checks should be made payable to AIM Volleyball. We will have a date in mid-December to collect all sponsorship funds at once at one of your team’s practices. This keeps it organized and easily administered.
